Gonzaga star Drew Timme is withdrawing from the NBA draft and returning to school for his senior year, he announced Wednesday on social media.
Timme declared for the draft in April but had until 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday to withdraw. His return caps a wild 24 hours for the Bulldogs as starters Rasir Bolton and Julian Strawther also announced their returns for next season after testing the draft waters.

Timme is coming off another solid campaign, averaging 18.4 points, 6.8 boards, and 2.8 assists over 32 appearances during the 2021-22 season. He won WCC Player of the Year honors and was among five finalists for the Wooden Award.
The year prior, Timme had a breakout sophomore season as he transitioned into a full-time starter. He led the WCC in scoring, total rebounds, and field-goal percentage en route to earning an All-WCC first-team nod.
The 21-year-old also captured the Karl Malone Award as the nation's top power forward. Timme's strong play throughout the 2020-21 campaign brought Gonzaga within a win of a perfect season and its first-ever national championship.
