Shaedon Sharpe, the No. 1 recruit in next year's class, is considering enrolling at Kentucky for second semester, sources told ESPN's Jeff Borzello.
The Canadian is reportedly still weighing his options and doesn't plan to play next season if he enrolls early. Sharpe will apparently redshirt and practice with the Wildcats if he attends school before the 2022-23 campaign.
Former five-star prospect Hamidou Diallo followed a similar route before suiting up for Kentucky in 2017-18.
Sharpe turned down offers from Kansas, Arizona, Oklahoma State, and the G League Ignite in favor of joining the Wildcats in September.
Kentucky's 2022 recruiting class also includes top-20 prospects Chris Livingston and Skyy Clark.
