5-star prospect Kijani Wright commits to USC
Class of 2022 five-star recruit Kijani Wright is committing to the University of Southern California.
Wright announced his decision during an Instagram Live broadcast on Wednesday with The Undefeated's Marc Spears.
"Everyone runs their own race," Wright told Spears. "Don't get caught up in what he or she is doing because no one is the same. Run your race and be in control of what you want to do. What I am doing is committing to the University of Southern California."
Wright had previously narrowed his list of potential schools to Arkansas, Texas, Stanford, and USC.
The 6-foot-9 big man currently sits in the 16th spot on ESPN's 100 for the class of 2022, and is ranked second among all power forwards in his age group.
Wright will transfer from Windward (Los Angeles) to Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, California) for his senior year where he'll play alongside the No. 1 player in the class of 2022 Amari Bailey, and LeBron James' son Bronny.
