Arizona State guard Holland Woods will be eligible to play this upcoming season after the NCAA granted him a waiver, the school announced Wednesday.
Woods transferred from Portland State after averaging 17.7 points, 5.2 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game during a stellar junior season.
The 6-foot-1 guard was named to the All-Big Sky first team and led the conference in free-throw attempts.
Woods adds some additional depth to an already loaded backcourt. Guards Remy Martin and Alonzo Verge both withdrew from the NBA draft and are expected to lead the Sun Devils' pursuit for a Pac-12 title.
