Top Gonzaga scorer Filip Petrusev is signing a professional, multi-year contract with Mega Bemax in Serbia, CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein reports.
Petrusev declared for the NBA draft in April and intends to remain eligible for selection for now, according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN. He'll have until Oct. 6 to withdraw after the NBA decided in June to push back its early-entry withdrawal deadline.
He averaged 17.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 33 games this past season, helping the Bulldogs top the West Coast Conference.
The 20-year-old big was born in Belgrade, where Mega Bemax is based.
