Vassell had a breakthrough sophomore year, averaging team highs in points (12.7 points per game) and rebounds (5.1). He earned All-ACC second-team honors and finished sixth in the conference with a 58.5% true-shooting percentage.
Vassell projects to be a 3-and-D wing at the next level. He shot 41.7% from beyond the arc across two seasons at Florida State. Vassell is pegged to be a late lottery selection in the latest mock draft by The Athletic's Sam Vecenie.
