USC has hired Mike Bohn to be its new athletic director, the school announced Thursday.
Bohn replaces Lynn Swann, who abruptly resigned from his post on Sept. 9.
The 58-year-old was the athletic director at Cincinnati from 2014 to 2019 and served in that same role at Colorado, San Diego State, and Idaho.
Bohn was responsible at Cincinnati for hiring football head coach Luke Fickell, who has since led the program to an impressive turnaround over the past two years.
The AD may have to consider making another football coaching change in his new home of Southern California, as Clay Helton is on the hot seat due to a 9-9 mark since the start of the 2018 campaign.
