5-star point guard Daishen Nix commits to UCLA

Daishen Nix, the No. 5 point guard in the class of 2020, committed to UCLA on Tuesday, his coach told ESPN's Jeff Borzello.
The five-star native of Las Vegas was also weighing offers from Kentucky and Kansas, among others.
The commitment is the first big one for new UCLA head coach Mick Cronin, who took the reins of the program in April.
