A new debit card celebrates Penny Hardaway's Memphis homecoming.

First Tennessee Bank unveiled a Visa debit card Tuesday featuring an image of the Tigers head coach on a penny.

"We join the community in celebrating Penny's return to Tiger basketball," said Bo Allen, West Tennessee region president at First Tennessee Bank, according to WMC Action News 5. "This is the first time we've ever featured an individual on a product, and Penny was an easy decision. We look forward to this new era in Memphis basketball under Penny’s leadership."

First Tennessee will also make a $15,000 donation to the Penny Hardaway Basketball Camp to help reduce costs for participants.

Hardaway played two seasons at Memphis before moving on to a 14-year NBA career. He was hired by the school in March, taking over coaching duties from Tubby Smith.
