Reid Travis is officially joining Kentucky as a graduate transfer, as the former Stanford star announced the move on Wednesday on Twitter.

The 6-foot-8, 245-pounder poured in 19.5 points per game and grabbed 8.7 rebounds for the Cardinal last season, and would have entered the 2018-19 campaign as favorite for Pac-12 Player of the Year should he have stayed on the West Coast.

It's a massive get for John Calipari at Kentucky to get an established player of Travis' pedigree, a two-time first-team All-Pac-12 selection. He should step into the starting lineup of a stacked Wildcats team that returns P.J. Washington, Nick Richards, and Quade Green and is adding four top-25 recruits for next season.

Obviously it's a big loss for Stanford, but it was widely-expected that Travis was making a move in graduate transfer market, so the Cardinal have likely prepared for such news.
