Five-star prospect E.J. Montgomery has verbally committed to Kentucky, according to 247Sports' Evan Daniels.
"(Kentucky's success with NBA players is) a big factor because my parents just wanted me to go to a school that I can get developed the most," Montgomery said, according to Daniels. "Their track record with their players in the NBA shows that they're pretty good at it."
The 6-foot-10 forward was previously set to join Auburn but decommitted in September after associate head coach Chuck Person was suspended following his arrest on corruption charges.
Montgomery, who's ranked 16th on the ESPN 100, joins Keldon Johnson, Immanuel Quickley, and Tyler Herro as the fourth top-25 recruit to commit to Kentucky.
