Trump complains again about lack of gratitude after UCLA players released
President Donald Trump isn't finished taking online jabs at LaVar Ball.
Trump ripped Ball earlier Sunday for downplaying the president's role in releasing LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley, and Jalen Hill from Chinese authorities for alleged shoplifting. Later in the day, Trump repeated that he should have left the players in jail and called the reaction to their release "very ungrateful."
Shoplifting is a very big deal in China, as it should be (5-10 years in jail), but not to father LaVar. Should have gotten his son out during my next trip to China instead. China told them why they were released. Very ungrateful!

The three players thanked Trump for his assistance in a media conference Wednesday upon their return to the U.S., but LaVar later complained, "Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out."
All three players have been indefinitely suspended by UCLA.
