In an age where in-game cameras and microphones seem to catch everything - let alone in the age of social media - you better be able to back up your trash talk.
This sound advice is something Gerald Henderson will likely be passing on, as the Portland Trail Blazers swingman bricked a free throw Thursday night after telling DeAndre Jordan to watch how it's done.
Jordan, who appears to mock Henderson with an "I'm watching" barb seconds after the miss, certainly doesn't need a tutorial on botched attempts from the stripe.
