LeBron rests against Mavericks
LeBron James sat out for the third time this season Wednesday night for rest when the Cleveland Cavaliers hosted the Dallas Mavericks at Quicken Loans Arena.
The team's track record without the four-time league MVP in the lineup this season, while small, isn't overly favorable, with the team winless at 0-2.
It was Cleveland's third game in four nights. The team dominated the Los Angeles Clippers by 24 points at the Staples Center on Sunday afternoon, but failed to string victories together the following night against the Utah Jazz, losing 94-85.
James is averaging 24.9 points on 50.5 percent shooting along with 7.4 rebounds and 6.5 assists this season. The Cavaliers hold a two-game lead over the Toronto Raptors for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference at 47-19.
