Report: Kevin Durant wants to join contender if he leaves OKC

Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Kevin Durant will look to sign on with a championship contender if he leaves in free agency, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported on Fox Sports Radio.
A source told Wojnarowski that winning a championship is reportedly high on Durant's free-agency criteria, and would look to sign with either the Golden State Warriors, or a team he thinks can realistically defeat them in a playoff series. He also speculated that Durant's strong desire to win a title removes the Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Lakers as front-runners.
After spending his rookie year with the Seattle Supersonics, Durant has spent the last eight seasons in a Thunder uniform. Wojnarowski did not rule out Durant re-signing with the Thunder, but did speculate that Durant would need to consider Oklahoma City a true contender to stay.
