The Charlotte Hornets picked up one of their biggest wins of the season on Wednesday night, topping the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers to move to within a game-and-a-half of a playoff spot.
It was the first time Charlotte had beaten a LeBron James-led team in nearly five years, curtailing a run of 17 straight losses.
Hornets owner Michael Jordan was fired up after the landmark victory, giving heartfelt embraces to recently returned swingman Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and season-long two-way stalwart Nicolas Batum. Sandwiched between those two, though, was center Spencer Hawes, who didn't feel quite the same MJ love.
