VIDEO: Mavs' Parsons, Nowitzki star in Zoolander parody
Although the release date for Zoolander 2 - the much-anticipated sequel to Ben Stiller's 2001 comedy about a pair of dim-witted male models - is still about a month-and-a-half away, that hasn't stopped the Dallas Mavericks' creative department from spoofing the film.
During the second quarter of Wednesday's beatdown of the reigning champion Golden State Warriors, the home team aired their rendition of Zoolander - which features Chandler Parsons parodying Stiller's protagonist and Dirk Nowitzki as rival/sidekick Hansel, with cameos from Wesley Matthews and Zaza Pachulia - on the in-arena big screen.
While the professional ballers merely lend their heads to mock the movie trailer, it is probably best that the Texas teammates stick to basketball, as they certainly don't possess LeBron James-caliber acting chops.
