Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert will be out indefinitely due to an MCL sprain in his left knee, the team announced Wednesday.
The 7-foot-1 native of France underwent an MRI on his leg after sustaining the injury during Wednesday's practice.
No surgery is required, the team confirmed.
The third-year man has played in 14 of his team's 16 games this season, posting career-high averages in points (9.2), rebounds (10.9), and blocks (2.6).
