Chandler (hip) is without a return timetable, the Denver Post reports. "I know that they are exhausting every and all option to try to get him back," Coach Michael Malone said. "Obviously, he's been out for a while. We miss having him. He's a big part of what we're trying to do."
Analysis:
Chandler has missed all seven of Denver's games to date, and he's yet to return to practice in any capacity. Initially, the team's training staff believed he'd miss roughly two weeks, but the hip is healing more slowly than anticipated. In Chandler's absence, the Nuggets brought in Kostas Papanikolaou, but the Greek forward has averaged just 5.3 minutes in three games.
