PHOTOS: Ray Allen gives away Air Jordans to fans in scavenger hunt
While not officially retired, 3-point marksman Ray Allen may never step on an NBA court again.
If that's the case, the vast collection of sneakers he's worn over the years will just be sitting there in his home gathering dust, reminding him of the battles he endured over his legendary 18-year career.
Well that's not the case, because after rummaging through his closet during some summer cleaning, the 39-year-old decided to have a fun little scavenger hunt and give his shoes away to those living in the Hartford area.
Allen left boxes of his shoes scattered around town, informing his followers on Instagram where they can pick up some free kicks.
Allen should expand his territory and leave his shoes all over the country. Go big or go home.
It's not as if he's running low.
