VIDEO: Stephen Curry cooks Clint Capela before beating the halftime buzzer
For a rookie, Houston Rockets center Clint Capela fared very well. But it wasn't enough because Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is a magician.
The Rockets jumped ahead by 14 points midway through the second quarter of the West Finals opener. The Oracle Arena was stunned, as the Warriors seemingly had no solution for the Rockets' unrelenting transition attack.
However, that's when head coach Steve Kerr went to a super small lineup with Draymond Green at the five with four guards on the perimeter. That allowed the Warriors to keep up with the Rockets' wings, while turning the Warriors into a lethal five-out unit with shooters all over the floor.
With that, the Warriors went on a 21-4 run to end the first half. Curry punctuated the run with this magical shot over Capela.
