VIDEO: Lou Amundson sums up Knicks' season with sad-sack layup attempt
Cary Edmondson / USA TODAY Sports
First things first: we mean no disrespect at all to Lou Amundson, a hard-working blue collar everyman who's managed to carve out a nine-year, 10-team NBA career seemingly out of hustle alone.
But let's just say that when Amundson is starting for your team, your team is probably not in great shape. It's no secret, of course, that the New York Knicks aren't in great shape. This Amundson layup attempt in the fourth quarter against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday, in a battle of the league's two worst teams, was their season in a nutshell.
The Knicks could've used the two points, too. They ended up losing in overtime.
