Veteran center Emeka Okafor, who hasn't played in the NBA since 2013, may wait until next season to attempt a comeback, according to ESPN's Marc Stein

Okafor, the No. 2 pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, missed all of last season after undergoing surgery for a herniated disk in his neck. Given the interest of contenders in big men and rim protectors like Jermaine O'Neal, word is several teams such as the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dallas Mavericks have Okafor on their list as well.

The Connecticut alum is only 32 and averaged 9.7 points and 8.8 rebounds per game for the Washington Wizards in 2012-13.
