Oklahoma City Thunder guard Reggie Jackson suffered a right wrist injury in the team's preseason game against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday and will be re-evaluated Saturday, according to The Oklahoman's Darnell Mayberry.
Jackson suffered the injury when he collided with Mavericks forward Al-Farouq Aminu while converting a layup early in the third quarter. Aminu was called for a foul, and Jackson made the ensuing free throw before leaving the game.
The Thunder are already dealing with their fair share of preseason injuries.
On Thursday, the team announced that rookie big man Mitch McGary would miss approximately six weeks with a foot fracture. In addition, Serge Ibaka and Nick Collison are recovering from ankle sprains, while Kendrick Perkins has missed training camp and preseason games with a quad injury.
While it's only the preseason, and far too early to panic, Thunder fans are surely wary of the injury bug after untimely injuries to Ibaka and Russell Westbrook derailed the team over the last couple seasons.
