Murry, who averaged 2.7 points and 1.0 assist in his rookie season, is joining the Jazz after the New York Knicks were unable to sort out their cap structure before making a commitment to the Wichita State product.
The deal is reportedly $2 million in total, which is believed to be the minimum salary Murry could command. The first year of his contract is apparently guaranteed for $250,000 but the second is non-guaranteed.
He'll wear No. 23 this season and should feature as the Jazz's third point guard option behind Trey Burke and Dante Exum, who was selected fifth overall in this year's NBA Draft.
