This isn't good.

As USA Basketball camp reconvened on Thursday, the 16 players remaining in camp split into two teams of eight for an intra-squad scrimmage - the same practice format in which Paul George suffered a gruesome injury.

At one point, DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis got tangled up, and Cousins found himself on the floor in pain. He was helped off the court by trainers and was said to be limping.

This would obviously be a major concern for both the Sacramento Kings and team USA, who are already rolling shorthanded in the post after several notable frontcourt players withdrew from consideration.

On an optimistic note, tweets from beat writers emanating from practice don't sound too concerned, so hopefully the injury isn't very serious.

Still, the program will send Cousins for a precautionary MRI, just to be safe. Cousins could also sit out through the weekend, and will not play in Saturday's exhbition opener against Brazil.
