Report: NBA store sold out of LeBron James Cavaliers jerseys
It doesn't seem to matter that LeBron James doesn't even know which jersey number he'll be wearing next season, people are buying them in record numbers.
(Readers of theScore lean heavily towards a return to No. 23, by the way.)
The Cleveland Cavaliers section of the store is actually offering jerseys with a "00" number, but those are only available in certain styles. The primary jersey options and sizes, however, are completely sold out, according to the esteemed Darren Rovell of ESPN:
The @NBAStore says it has now sold out of LeBron replica Cavs home, away & alternate jerseys.

As it turns out, Cavaliers fans are pretty willing to forgive James. And hey, there were a lot of jerseys lit on fire when he left, so people have to replace them now that he's back. It doesn't hurt that he's also the most popular male athlete in the U.S.
8 of the top 10 items sold during the last week @NBAStore are LeBron Cavs items.
