It's official. Chris "Birdman" Andersen will return to Miami to play for the Heat next season.
The team announced the move on Instagram. It's believed that Andersen and the Heat have inked a two-year, $10 million deal.
Heat president Pat Riley left his sentiments in the comments:
Chris Andersen has had two great seasons with us and without him, we would not have been able to win the 2013 NBA Championship. I'm happy he decided to come back and we're looking forward to a great season from him in the power rotation.
Reportedly, Birdman spurned the Cleveland Cavaliers to sign in Miami, unlike a certain someone.
As if Heat fans weren't enamored with Birdman already: Cleveland came after him big time, but he never wavered on Miami.

He's one of many pieces the Heat have brought back in their $215 million offseason.
