The Philadelphia 76ers have 'expressed a willingness' to trade for Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.

According to the report, the 76ers are looking for at least one future first-round pick in any deal. Lin will make $15 million next season, but  only $8.37 million will count against the cap.

The Milwaukee Bucks may also have interest in the guard, if the Rockets add a 'sweetener or two'.

The Rockets strategy in any deal is quite evident. Clear as much cap space as possible to make a run at free agents Carmelo Anthony or Chris Bosh.

Last season, Lin averaged 12.5 points per game in 71 regular season games.
