Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard will be re-evaluated in one week due to swelling in his left knee, the team announced Tuesday.

Leonard will undergo treatment and rehab. Medical imaging revealed he didn't have an acute injury.

The two-time Finals MVP missed Sunday's 117-94 defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Toronto reacquired Leonard from the Los Angeles Clippers in a blockbuster offseason trade.

The 35-year-old is off to a slow start in his second stint with the Raptors, averaging 19.5 points on 32.4% shooting.
