Veteran guard Mike Conley agreed to a one-year contract with the Boston Celtics, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Conley had a handful of offers before deciding to join the Celtics, Charania reports.

The Ohio State product is set to become the 14th player in NBA history to play 20 seasons.

Conley spent parts of the last four campaigns with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 38-year-old was relegated to a bench role last season and averaged career lows in points (4.5 per contest) and assists (2.9) across 54 appearances.

The one-time All-Star should have a similar role in Boston playing behind Derrick White and Payton Pritchard.

Conley spent most of his career with the Memphis Grizzlies, who drafted him fourth overall in 2007. He remains the franchise's all-time leader in games played, points, assists, and 3-point field goals.

Conley also played parts of four seasons with the Utah Jazz.
