The Philadelphia 76ers and veteran power forward Dean Wade have agreed to a four-year, $39-million contract, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Wade joins the Sixers after spending the first seven seasons of his NBA career with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The 29-year-old averaged 5.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists across 59 outings last season in Cleveland.

The undrafted Kansas State product was a vital part of the Cavaliers' frontcourt during the 2025-26 campaign, especially with injuries to Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley.

Wade's signing is the first significant free-agent addition by the Sixers after team options for forward Dom Barlow and guard Dalen Terry were exercised to open their offseason work.
