Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards will make his return for Monday's Western Conference semifinals opener against the San Antonio Spurs, head coach Chris Finch confirmed to ESPN's Anthony Slater.
Finch added that Edwards will have an unspecified minutes restriction.
Edwards was initially expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering a hyperextension and bone bruise in his left knee during Game 4 of Minnesota's opening-round series against the Denver Nuggets.
He's undergone multiple treatments, including hyperbaric chamber sessions, to hasten his recovery, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
The team announced Sunday that Edwards had been cleared for on-court basketball activities and upgraded him to questionable.
The 24-year-old released a video on his YouTube channel Sunday documenting his recovery process. The video included an interview with David Hines, Minnesota's vice president of medical operations and performance.
The four-time All-Star has also been managing inflammation in his right knee over the past month.
