Miami Heat guard Norman Powell is out week-to-week after an MRI revealed a Grade 1 right groin strain, the team announced Friday.

Powell aggravated the injury Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers and exited after playing just 10 minutes. He was listed as questionable for the matchup with groin soreness before being cleared to play.

Tyler Herro and Jaime Jaquez Jr. each played 30 minutes off the bench versus the 76ers, and either player could slide into Powell's spot in the starting lineup.

Miami acquired Powell from the Los Angeles Clippers in the offseason as part of a three-team trade. The 32-year-old earned his first career All-Star nod this season and is averaging a career-high 22.5 points on 47.3% shooting.

The Heat are scoring 5.4 more points per 100 possessions with Powell on the floor.

Powell is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
