The NBA has postponed Saturday's game between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves in Minneapolis.

The league said the decision was made to "prioritize the safety and security of the Minneapolis community." The move comes in the wake of a fatal shooting in the city involving federal agents Saturday.

The matchup has been rescheduled to Sunday at 4:30 p.m. CT, creating a back-to-back for the Warriors and Timberwolves, who will meet again Monday at the Target Center.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security confirmed that its agents were involved in a deadly shooting that killed a man Saturday morning, according to The Minnesota Star Tribune. Minneapolis police chief Brian O'Hara said the victim was a 37-year-old Minneapolis resident with no serious criminal history, according to Rolling Stone's Nikki McCann Ramírez.

The fatal shooting is the city's second involving federal immigration agents this month following the death of Renee Good on Jan. 7.
