Report: Thunder guard Williams to make season debut Friday
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Jalen Williams is off the injury report and will make his season debut Friday against the Phoenix Suns, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
Williams missed the start of the campaign while recovering from wrist surgery after playing through the issue during Oklahoma City's championship title run last season.
Expect a patient and natural reintegration of Williams, with the Thunder having the experience of a lengthy absence last season with star big man Chet Holmgren, who returned in February after three months and gradually made OKC whole heading into the playoffs.

Williams earned his first All-Star nod in 2024-25, averaging 21.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 69 games. The 24-year-old was also one of two players that year to earn both All-NBA and All-Defensive honors.
The Thunder enter Friday with the NBA's best record (18-1).
