Toronto Raptors wing RJ Barrett will miss at least one week after medical imaging revealed a right knee sprain, the team announced Wednesday.

Barrett suffered no structural damage, and the Raptors are expected to provide an update on his condition as warranted.

The 25-year-old sat out Monday's victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers and is slated to miss at least four more games under the timeline provided by Toronto.

Barrett sustained the injury during Sunday's contest against the Brooklyn Nets. He landed awkwardly after making a transition dunk and headed straight to the locker room.

Barrett has been a key part of the Raptors' hot start, averaging 19.4 points, 4.8 boards, and 3.8 assists across 17 appearances this season. He's shooting a career-high 50.6% from the field, including a 35.6% clip from deep.

Barrett has tallied 20-plus points in 10 games, and his 52% mark on mid-range attempts ranks in the 85th percentile among wings, per Cleaning the Glass.
