The five-time All-Star spent seven of his 18 NBA seasons with the Celtics, including the past four.
Jayson Tatum potentially missing the entire season with an Achilles injury factored into Horford's free-agency decision, a source told Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe.
Horford averaged nine points and 6.2 boards and shot 36.3% from deep across 60 appearances during the 2024-25 campaign.
Horford joins a Golden State frontcourt that features Draymond Green and Quinten Post. He's made at least 100 triples in each of the last three seasons and should fit seamlessly into the Warriors' 3-point-heavy attack.
