The San Antonio Spurs made their final cuts on Sunday, releasing Dan Nwaelele and Courtney Fells to trim their roster to 14.
The 15th spot remains open as the team hopes to maintain flexibility and possibly grab another small forward.
Nwaelele is an Air Force veteran who spent last year in the D-League after several years off from basketball. In three preseason games, he averaged 3.7 points and 1.7 rebounds.
Fells, meanwhile, was trying to crack the NBA after several years playing overseas. He averaged 4.7 points and 3.3 rebounds in three games.
