Ant wants 'front row tickets' for Doncic's return to Dallas
Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is eager to see Luka Doncic face his former team after the Dallas Mavericks traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
In a video posted on his Instagram account Wednesday, Edwards said he hopes to attend Doncic's first game back at American Airlines Center.
"I'm excited to see the first time the Lakers play Dallas in Dallas," Edwards said. "I'm super excited to see that, oh my God. It's in a few weeks? If we're not playing, I'm buying front row tickets to that bitch."
The Lakers play host to the Mavs on Feb. 25, and Doncic's return to Dallas won't come until April 9. Fortunately for Edwards, the Timberwolves don't have games scheduled either of those days.
Doncic is expected to make his Lakers debut Saturday against the Indiana Pacers.
