Suns react to Luka-AD swap during game
Where were you when you found out about Saturday's blockbuster three-team trade involving Luka Doncic and Anthony Davis?
For some NBA players, they were on the bench during an ongoing game.
News of the trade broke during garbage time of the Portland Trail Blazers' 127-108 home victory over the Phoenix Suns, and Devin Booker said postgame that he and some teammates were told of the trade from a fan seated near the bench.
"They said, 'Luka.' I said, ‘Luka Garza?'", Booker told the Associated Press.
No, not the Minnesota Timberwolves' big man. The other Luka.
Booker added: "It’s crazy, man. I really don’t know what to say about it. Luka being a guy that everybody has claimed is untouchable and untradeable. The NBA shows you again. Can’t predict. It’s a business. They’re always having a conversation about you. So don’t think you’re safer than you are."
Video surfaced of what appears to be Booker and his teammates reacting to reports of the trade.

There was also video of Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal apparently reacting to the trade on the bench.
"Insane. It’s crazy. Crazy. Damn, would have never thought Luka Doncic would get traded," Durant told the Associated Press. "At his age, midseason, the NBA is a wild place, man. If he can get traded then anybody is up for grabs."
