The Orlando Magic signed back-to-back Slam Dunk contest champ Mac McClung to a partially guaranteed deal, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
McClung went to Magic training camp last season and will compete for a roster spot. The undrafted guard has spent most of his professional career in the G League.
He averaged 19.6 points, 5.8 assists, and 1.2 steals to earn G League Rookie of the Year honors during the 2021-22 campaign.
McClung is fresh off a G League MVP season with the Osceola Magic. The 25-year-old registered a career-high 25.2 points, 5.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per contest across 14 appearances in 2023-24.
In February, McClung became the fifth player in NBA history to successfully defend their Slam Dunk crown.
