New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson suffered a broken left hand in the second half of New York's 130-109 Game 7 loss to the Indiana Pacers, the team announced.

Brunson had 17 points on 6-of-17 shooting from the field. The Pacers had a double-digit lead at the time of his departure.

The 27-year-old averaged 33.7 points in 12 postseason appearances with the Knicks, recording at least 40 in five outings.

New York was already dealing with multiple injuries after forward OG Anunoby was pulled from Game 7 after only four minutes due to the hamstring injury that kept him out of his previous four contests.

Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, and Bojan Bogdanovic were all ruled out for the remainder of the playoffs. Guard Josh Hart is dealing with an abdominal injury sustained in Game 6 of this series.
