New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby was pulled in the first quarter of the team's 130-109 Game 7 loss against the Indiana Pacers to prevent causing more damage to his hamstring, head coach Tom Thibodeau told reporters postgame, according to ESPN's Chris Herring.

Anunoby missed the previous four matches against Indiana due to a left hamstring strain suffered in Game 2 of the series.

Anunoby was in New York's starting lineup for the must-win contest but only played four minutes before being taken out of the game. He scored five points on 2-of-2 shooting in his limited return.

The 26-year-old averaged 20.5 points in his two previous playoff appearances against the Pacers.

The Knicks have been dealing with several key injuries heading into Game 7. Bojan Bogdanovic, Julius Randle, and Mitchell Robinson have all been ruled out for the postseason. Do-it-all guard Josh Hart is dealing with an abdominal injury that was sustained in Game 6.

New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson suffered a broken hand in the second half.
