Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela will miss at least 7-10 days after an MRI revealed a left adductor strain, the team announced Sunday.
Under that timeline, the big man would be sidelined for the Hawks' remaining six contests before the All-Star break.
Capela was experiencing discomfort late in Saturday's 141-134 overtime win over the Golden State Warriors.
The 6-foot-10 center has started in all 47 of his appearances this season, averaging 11.5 points, 10.6 boards, and 1.5 blocks. He leads the Association in offensive rebounds (225) and ranks 13th in field-goal percentage (57.5%).
Fourth-year center Onyeka Okongwu will likely step into Capela's spot in the starting lineup.
Atlanta has won four straight games and holds a 1.5-game lead over the Brooklyn Nets for the East's final play-in tournament spot.
