Detroit center Isaiah Stewart is expected to miss the next 10-to-14 days after sustaining a toe sprain two weeks ago against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Pistons announced Friday.
Stewart initially missed two contests before playing through the pain for three games. He then sat out Thursday's matchup versus the Boston Celtics.
Former No. 2 overall pick James Wiseman could see extended minutes during Stewart's absence.
Stewart has started in all 28 of his appearances this season while averaging 10.4 points, seven boards, and 1.7 assists. He's shooting a career-high 39.8% from deep.
The Washington product finished in the NBA's top 20 for both total offensive rebounds and blocks in each of his first two campaigns.
Detroit signed Stewart to a four-year, $64-million rookie contract extension this past summer.
The Pistons fell to the Celtics on Thursday, tying the NBA record for longest losing streak at 28 games.
