Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray is among the Los Angeles Lakers' potential trade targets, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported on FanDuel's "Run It Back."
Murray is in the middle of his second season with the Hawks. The 27-year-old has put up solid numbers since being acquired from the San Antonio Spurs, averaging 20.4 points, 5.9 assists, five rebounds, and 1.5 steals across 103 appearances.
Atlanta inked Murray to a four-year, $120-million contract extension this past summer. The All-Star guard's new deal will kick in next season and includes a $30.8-million player option for 2027-28.
Murray would give the Lakers an additional playmaker and bolster their outside attack. The club currently ranks 22nd in 3-point percentage (35.6%) and 28th in threes per game (10.9).
However, Los Angeles can only offer one first-round draft pick in a potential deal with Atlanta.
The Lakers have also been linked to Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine.
