NBA looking into Thunder's Giddey for alleged relationship with minor

The NBA is looking into allegations that Oklahoma City Thunder wing Josh Giddey engaged in an inappropriate relationship with an underage girl, a league spokesman said Friday, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

The allegations regarding the 21-year-old surfaced on social media earlier this week.

Giddey and Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault declined to comment on the reports Friday after practice.

"I get the question, guys, and I completely understand you guys want to know about it, but just for right now, I don't have anything to say," said Giddey, according to Rylan Stiles of FanSided.

The Australian is in his third NBA season.

Oklahoma City plays the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.
