The Milwaukee Bucks re-signed center Brook Lopez to a two-year, $48-million contract, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Lopez opted to return to Milwaukee despite receiving a similar offer from the Houston Rockets, adds Charania.
The 7-footer has spent the past five seasons with the Bucks, anchoring their defense and providing a reliable floor-spacing option.
Lopez had a resurgent 2022-23 season after missing most of the previous campaign due to a back injury. He averaged 15.9 points and shot a career-best 37.4% from beyond the arc.
Milwaukee re-signed Khris Middleton to a three-year, $102-million deal on the opening day of free agency.
