Kevin Durant doesn't take fans' support lightly.

On a recent episode of "The ETCs" podcast, the Phoenix Suns star explained how much positive interactions with fans mean to him and other NBA players.

"We all love that shit, man. Don't get it twisted, man," Durant said. "NBA players really appreciate that shit.

"We put in a lot of hard work, sometimes people don't even see. … When people say they appreciate your game, they watch the game because of you - all NBA players appreciate that. The more of those interactions we can have between players and fans, that's just gonna grow the game even more."

Durant was slated to make his home debut with the Suns on March 8 but injured his left ankle during pregame warmups and has been sidelined since. He's set to be re-evaluated in late March.

In three games with his new team, Durant averaged 26.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists.
